Make the most of your unique and powerful brand

When you already have a strong brand identity, your collateral should take advantage of it. Any designer can put your logo on a template and call it a day - working with a professional Brand Designer means your marketing will effectively and impressively represent your brand.

The Brand Implementation Difference

Graphic design for the purpose of promoting a brand needs to not just be effective and appealing, but true to the spirit of the brand. Brand Implementation is the term we use to distinguish generic graphic design services from coordinated, brand-tailored, audience-engaging design.

Brand Implementation is an example of how Grapesoda Studio uses design services to cater to your specific needs. See our full range of Graphic Design services here

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a brand?

Imagine you’ve developed a new sponge. It’s very advanced, and incredibly feature-rich, and you’re ready to take it to market. The sponge itself, and all of its features, are not its brand. But, if you call the sponge the Supersponge, and you describe all of its features with a certain kind of language, and you dye the sponge neon blue to help distinguish it from other sponges - those are features of your brand.

Your brand is the translation of the essence of your product or service - the bridge between you and your audience. A good brand will be impressive, eye-catching and memorable - but most importantly, it will effectively communicate what it is about your product or service that makes it special.

Do I need a brand?

Chances are, you already have one! Realistically, it's very difficult not to have a brand. If people are able to recognise your product or service in any way, you have a brand. Even if you’re the only one who knows about your product or service, there’s probably something about it that makes it special or distinct from other similar products or services to you. No one sets out to just remake something someone else has already made (uness you're making a tribute to something - in which case, that's your brand!). Whatever it is that makes your thing different: that is the heart of your brand.

Of course, if people aren’t able to recognise that difference immediately, then you probably don’t have a very strong brand. If there’s no logo, no visual identity, no slogans or taglines, nothing to quickly communicate that difference, then you’ll go on to be the only person who knows what the difference is - you may even have all of those elements of branding, but if your audience doesn’t get the message, then you may as well not have any of those elements at all.

That’s where we step in. We spend the time necessary to learn what’s special about your product or service, and we use our brand design expertise to translate that essence into an identity that your desired audience will notice and remember. If you would like to learn more about how we do this, take a look at the breakdown of our Brand Development services here.

Can I just get a logo?

The short answer is: Yes!

The long answer is: Every brand has different needs and different budgets, and we recognise that sometimes, there aren’t enough resources to get the full kit right out the gate. While we strongly believe that a powerful and comprehensively developed brand can make all the difference for a product’s success, ‘just a logo’ is worlds better than nothing at all.

Our most streamlined Brand Development services will have you walking away with a logo and a Brand Guidelines document that details how to use your logo variations, as well as your brand’s colours and fonts - we consider these the absolute essentials, as all good logos are built on the foundation fo a well coordinated brand font hierarchy and brand colour palette. The Brand Guidelines document will be your incredibly important point of reference for all future brand work: when you're doing any kind of work with your brand, like social media marketing or email signatures, the Brand Guidelines document will provide an outline of how to use your logo, your colours, and your fonts (as well as any other brand assets we develop for you). You can learn more about our Logo Development services here , and you can learn more about Brand Guidelines in the breakdown of our Brand Development process here.

If you would like to discuss what’s necessary to get your product or service out for your audience to see, we offer free consultations and would be happy to help! Drop us a line here and we’ll help make sure you get the most branding bang for your business buck.

How much does a brand cost?

The cost of brand design varies depending on what services we would be providing. We cater our services to you based on your brand’s needs, and we quote our services based on the value we expect them to bring to you - we take pride in our ability to accommodate to the tightest budgets, and to the grandest scopes. For figures, please send us an inquiry on our Contact page, and we can offer an estimate based on your budget and requirements as part of our free consultation.

I don’t know anything about branding!

That's absolutely fine! We love working with all clients, regardless of their understanding of the brand development process. You’re the expert of your service: leave the design stuff to us.

What do I do with my brand after it's been made?

Brands are the first and foundational step in any product or service's marketing efforts. Your logo, colours, fonts, illustrations, patterns, imagery style and so on will establish a consistency and familiarity for your product/service that will help build a relationship with your audience. So, the next step after the creation of a brand is the utilisation and implementation of that brand. We call this component of a marketing journey the Brand Implementation stage: this is where things like websites, social media pages and graphics, EDM (electronic direct mail)/email marketing templates, letterheads, business cards, capability statements and so on are created.

Once we've created a brand for you, you have all the brand resources you need to go off into the wild world of audience engaegement and create your own marketing collateral! If you'd like a professional helping hand in this department as well though, we do also offer Brand Implementation services which you can learn more about here.

Do you offer rebranding services?

Yes! Whether your brand is in need of a slight refresh or a complete overhaul, we would love to help. Drop us a line and we can talk about your brand's needs and how we can fulfil them for you.

Our brand is incomplete or insufficient. Can you help?

Yes, we’re more than happy to work on brand projects that have already been started out. You give us the full run down on what’s been done and what you want from us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
